A real problem comes first
Most AFK tools begin with work Cole is already doing: pricing a print, organizing expenses, preparing game art, or removing a repetitive business task.
A family-founded software and maker studio built for useful work that lasts.
When Cole started AFK Artifact, he had one goal: build something real alongside his wife, Brittany, give their sons, Liam and Lucas, something meaningful to work toward one day, and create a foundation they could take further than he ever imagined.
"Do this for your kids. Give them something real to work toward with you one day."
This is for them.

AFK Artifact is a small studio that ships practical software. We build ready-made apps that creators and small businesses can buy today, and we take on custom work when the shelf does not fit.
Our work covers creative tools for makers, business dashboards and quoting tools for operators, automations for community and support teams, and private AI workflows for teams that need their own assistant. Our 3D printing services and downloadable models live under AFK Model Forge, a dedicated division of AFK Artifact. Same studio, same standard: clean, fast, useful.
AFK Artifact is a young, independent studio. We use modern tools aggressively because they let a small team test ideas and solve practical problems faster. We do not treat generated output as a finished product: the value is in choosing the right problem, shaping the workflow, checking the result, and standing behind what customers receive.

We use AI where it helps with exploration, drafting, code, and visual iteration. Cole directs the product, reviews the output, tests the workflow, and owns what ships and how it is supported.
A focused utility is not presented as an enterprise platform. Listings spell out the format, status, included features, license, delivery method, and intended user before checkout.
Paid apps include email support and patch updates within the stated version. Games, guides, proofs of concept, and portfolio projects are labeled separately so visitors know what they are seeing.

Best friend and investor
Michael is Cole's best friend and an investor in AFK Artifact. He is part of the support behind the studio and its long-term future.
Tools should remove friction, not add it. We ship the parts that actually move the work.
Interfaces that get out of the way. Polished without being precious.
If a person is copying data between tools, that is a problem worth automating.
Off-the-shelf for the obvious stuff. Custom builds for work that defines your business.
